Explanation

He has an optional ability that discards as many cards from your opponent's deck as there are on the field and a static ability that increases his attack based on the number of cards in their discard pile.
His ability also includes partners so you'll be able to discard at least three cards with it.
Using things like other units or continuous spells, you can increase that number.
Keeping him on the field for several turns will quickly demolish your opponent's deck.
With his other ability, this will increase his Attack tremendously, making him an incredibly strong unit.
