Explanation

He has a static ability that lets him attack twice, another static ability that requires you to pay life when attacking with him and a trigger ability that deals damage to your opponent after increasing his level and Attack.
Along with his base stats, that makes him a powerful offensive unit.
Attacking twice for 900 damage is already strong enough but on top of that his 3rd ability lets you increase that further and deal direct damage to your opponent.
Being able to deal effect damage to your opponent until you can use the increased Attack to swing at their partner once they run out of units makes it a brutal ability.
